About
The work is personal, convoluted, and assemblages are the instruments of my imagination, through which I create an intimate exchange of thought and emotion. We can only talk about our world, no one can explain the “Why”.
I grew up in San Francisco and the Bay Area, having a great appreciation for the eclectic art of the city. I have been involved in it’s many forms of expression since childhood, with my most natural inclination being mixed media collage and assemblage.
The work is personal, convoluted and not easily understood. It needs to be read and studied as you would text; to be deciphered by the layman and critic alike. My art is for pondering and to chronicle some of the events and issues of man’s temporary reign.
This broad free medium is my comment, my oratory, my poetry. These labors of my art are created in a DADA. quasi-surrealistic influenced style. Juxtaposition of forms, symbols, and colors are my way of talking about and interacting with the world in which you and I live.
I hope you enjoy the conversations.
